Lahori Qatlamba


Ingredients
  • 300 grams plain flour
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tomatoes
  • ¼ cup oil
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • ½ tsp red food color
  • 2 tbsp crushed coriander
  • 2 tbsp crushed cumin
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • 2 tbsp red chili powder
  • Coriander as required
  • Water as required
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste
Method
  1. In 300 gram flour, add salt to taste, water as required and ¼ cup oil and knead to form fine dough. Take another pan and boil tomatoes, blend boiled tomatoes with ½ tsp red food color in a juicer and also add 1 beaten egg. 
  2. Pour this mixture in a bowl and add 2 tbsp crushed coriander, 2 tbsp crushed cumin, 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds, 2 tbsp red chili powder, salt to taste, 1 tbsp oregano and coriander as required. Mix thoroughly and keep aside. 
  3. Form the prepared dough into shape of a roti. Apply the mixture on top of it, and fry from both sides. Lahori Qatlamba is ready to serve.
