FISH TIKALA
Ingredients:
- Fish sliced half kg Marinate with 1 tsp salt
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Whole red chilies 3 soaked in water
- Button red chilies 3 soaked in water
- Garlic 6 cloves
- Onion 2 tbsp raw
- Coconut 3 tbsp fresh grated
- Turmeric half tsp
- Whole green chilies 4
- Crushed garlic 1 tsp
- Onion 1 cup chopped
- Tamarind pulp quarter cup
Method:
- Marinate fish with salt. Grind together into a paste coriander both the soaked chilies onion garlic and coconut. Heat oil add whole green shilies crudhed garlic add 1 cup chopped onion fry till light golden add grinded masala. fry well. Add sliced fish. Tamarind pupl andf half cup of water. Cook till fish done and gravy thick. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with paratha.
