Soup of the Day
Ingredients:
- Butter 2 ounces
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Ginger (Chopped) 1 tsp
- Onions (Chopped) 2 tbsp
- Potatoes 1
- Carrots ½
- Mushroom (Sliced) 3-4
- Corn 2-3 tbsp
- Chicken 1 cup
- Salt 1 tsp
- White Pepper ½ tsp
- Caster Sugar 1 tsp
- Stock 7-8 cups
- Peas 2-3 tbsp
- Corn Flour 3 tbsp
- Milk ½ cup
- Macaroni (Boiled) 3 tbsp
Method:
- Heat butter and oil, add in chopped garlic and 2 tbsp chopped onion. Fry it till golden brown.Add in potato cubes, carrot cubes and mix it.Add in mushroom slice, 2-3 tbsp corn, 1 cup shredded chicken, salt, white pepper and caster sugar. Cook it for 5 minutes.Add in stock and let it cook till the vegetables are cooked. Add in peas.Dissolve corn flour with water and add it. Add in milk and keep on stirring.Add in 3 tbsp boiled macaroni and mix.In the end, dish out in a bowl and add in fresh cream. Serve.
