OATMEAL COCONUT BARS
Ingredients:
- Butter (Melted) 6 oz.
- Brown Sugar ½ cup
- Granulated Sugar ¼ cup
- Eggs 2
- Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
- Flour 1 ½ cups
- Baking Powder ½ tsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Oats 1 ½ cups
- Chocolate Chips 1 cup
- Flaked Coconut ¾ cup
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180 C.Grease a 13 by 9 inch baking pan and line with butter paper. In a bowl, mix together butter and both the sugars. Beat in eggs and vanilla essence until blended. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Stir until blended. Mix in oats, chocolate chips and coconuts. Spread batter in the greased and lined pan. Bake for 25 minutes until edges are lightly browned and center in set. Cool completely.
