LINZER COOKIES
Ingredients:
- Butter 250 g
- Sugar 200 g
- Flour 375 g
- Baking Powder ½ tsp
- Egg 1
- Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Ingredients for Filling:
Method:
- In a bowl, beat butter and sugar till light and creamy.Add egg and vanilla essence, while continuing to beat.Add in flour, baking powder and mix well.Form dough into cookie-shaped balls and line on a baking sheet.Bake at 175 C for 8 minutes and remove.Make slight indentation in the center of each cookie and return to oven and bake for a further 8 minutes. Let the cookies and add filling in the indentation.
Method for Filling:
- Melt chocolate and cream together.Leave to set for an hour and use.
