TUSCAN SANDWICHES


Ingredients:
  • Chicken Breast (Boneless, flattened) 2
  • Garlic Paste 2 tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Black Pepper ½ tsp
  • Barbecue Sauce 2 tbsp
  • Chili Sauce 1 tbsp
  • Bread 4 slices
  • Capsicum 1 slice
  • Lettuce 4 leaves
  • Tomato 2 slices
  • Basil Pesto 3 tbsp
  • Cream Cheese 4 tbsp
Ingredients for Pesto Sauce:
  • Basil Leaves (Fresh) 2 cups
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Green Chilies 3
  • Pine nuts 2 tbsp
  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Black Pepper (Crushed) ½ tsp
Method for Pesto Sauce:
  • Blend all the ingredients together until smooth.
Method for Sandwich:
  • Marinate chicken breast with salt and pepper, garlic paste, barbecue sauce and chili sauce.Grill chicken breast for 5 minutes on each side. Remove from pan and heat the bread in the same grill pan. Mix pesto in cream cheese and apply on the slices of bread. Place lettuce leaf over 2 slices and place chicken breast topped with tomato and capsicum slices. Cover with the bread slice. Secure with a skewer and serve.
