Marble Cupcakes


Ingredients:
  • Butter 6 oz
  • Self-Raising Flour 5 ½ oz
  • Caster Sugar 6 oz
  • Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
  • Eggs 3
  • Milk 4 tbsp
  • Cocoa Powder 2 tbsp
For Icing:
  • Butter 3 oz
  • Icing Sugar 5 ½ oz
  • Cocoa Powder 1 tsp
Method:
  • Whisk together 6 oz butter with 5 ½ oz self-raising flour. Now add 1 tsp vanilla essence and beat the mixture. Then add 3 eggs one by one and 1 tsp flour and beat.Gently fold the rest of the flour with 4 tbsp milk and divide the batter into 2 equal parts. Then add milk in one part and 2 tbsp cocoa powder. Leave the other batter as it is.After this add the cocoa powder batter in to the paper cases and layer with the plain batter. Mix slightly and bake the cupcakes at 180 C for 20 minutes. Then cool and ice the cupcakes.For the icing beat 3 oz butter and then add 5 ½ oz icing sugar and 1 tsp cocoa powder. Beat well. In the end pipe the icing on the cupcakes.
