Veg biryani
 

Ingredients
  • Basmati rice 750 gm
  • Carrot 2 cut in cubes
  • Potatoes cut into small cubes
  • French beans 1 cup cut into 1 inch cubes
  • Capsicum 1 cut in cubes
  • Peas 1 cup
  • Onion brown 1 cup
  • Tomatoes 3 chopped
  • Choti methi 3 bunches chopped
  • Dill 1 bunch chopped
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Alu Bukhara 8
  • Allspice 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 ½ tsp
  • Oil ¾ cup
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp heaped
  • Coriander powder2 tsp
  • Chili powder 3 tsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Saffron ½ tsp
  • Milk ½ cup
Method
  • Mix all the dry masala in yogurt, heat oil add yogurt mixture with brown onion and tomatoes, fry well, add all the vegetables, cover and cook for 15 minutes till potatoes tender, boiled rice till ¾ done.
To assemble
  • Spread rice in a pan, top with vegetable mixture, remaining rice, mix saffron and mix, put on top, leave it on dum for 20 minutes. Mix and serve.
