French onion steak
Ingredients for steak
- Undercut 2 pieces of 8 ounces each
- Crushed garlic 1 tsp
- Chili sauce 2 tbsp
- Soya sauce 2 tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp
- Hp sauce 1 tbsp
- Salt and black pepper ¼ tsp each
- Rosemary leaves ½ tsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Onion rings of 1 large onion
- Fries and boiled vegetables for serving
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Onion coarsely chopped 1
- Soya sauce 1 tsp
- Wooster sauce 1 tsp
- Brown sugar 1 tsp
- Hp sauce 2 tbsp
- Salt and pepper ½ tsp each
- Stock 1 cup
- Crushed black pepper ½ tsp
- Fresh cream 2 tbsp
- Flour 1 tbsp
- Heat 1 tbsp oil and butter fry chopped onion till brown add in all the rest, cook till sauce thick,
- Marinate undercut with all the ingredients, grill in 1 tbsp of butter and 1 tbsp oil for 10 minutes till well done, remove and keep aside.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil fry onion rings for 3 to 4 minutes till soft add in tbsp of soya sauce, pinch of salt, 1 tsp brown sugar, cook till done, remove onion on a sizzler, spread with steak, pour sauce on top, serve with fries and boiled vegetables.
