Polka dot pound cake


Ingredients
  • Flour 3 cups sieved
  • Baking powder 1 ½ tsp heaped
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Caster sugar 2 cups
  • Butter 8 ounces
  • Vanilla essence 1 tbsp
  • Eggs 4
  • Butter milk 1 cup
  • 3 colored Chocolate chips 2 cups (green, orange, brown)
  • Icing sugar as required to dust
Method
  • Grease a 10 inch bandit pan, preheat oven to 180 degree C, beat 8 ounces butter, gradually adding it into 2 cup sugar, beat till light and fluffy, start adding it one egg at a time alternating with 1 tbsp sieved flour and butter milk, till all the eggs, butter milk and flour have been added, lightly fold in the colored chocolate chips, pour the mixture in prepared tin, bake for 1 hour remove, cool, dust with icing sugar and serve.
