Nawabi tikya
Ingredients
- Mince ½ kg
- Raw papaya 2 tbsp
- Ginger garlic 3 tsp
- Green cardamom powder ½ tsp heaped
- Roasted gram grinded 3 tbsp
- Chili powder 1 tsp heaped
- Salt 1 tsp heaped
- Allspice 1 tsp heaped
- Ghee for shallow frying
Method
- Mix mince with all the ingredients except ghee and grind to a fine paste, refrigerate for 2 hours, form into balls, flatten slightly, shallow fry on a tawa until light golden, serve hot with chatni.
Ghaatiya chatni
Ingredients
- Ghaatiya 1 cup
- Water ½ cup
- Salt ½ tsp
- Garlic paste 1 tsp
- Green chilies 4
- Coriander ½ bunch
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Method
- Blend all together, serve with kabab and tikka.
