Nawabi tikya


Ingredients
  • Mince ½ kg
  • Raw papaya 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic 3 tsp
  • Green cardamom powder ½ tsp heaped
  • Roasted gram grinded 3 tbsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp heaped
  • Salt 1 tsp heaped
  • Allspice 1 tsp heaped
  • Ghee for shallow frying
Method
  • Mix mince with all the ingredients except ghee and grind to a fine paste, refrigerate for 2 hours, form into balls, flatten slightly, shallow fry on a tawa until light golden, serve hot with chatni.

Ghaatiya chatni


Ingredients
  • Ghaatiya 1 cup
  • Water ½ cup
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Green chilies 4
  • Coriander ½ bunch
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Method
  • Blend all together, serve with kabab and tikka.
