Achaari chana pulao


Ingredients
  • Sela rice ½ kg soaked for 2 hours
  • Chic piece 250 gm soaked overnight and boiled
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Brown onion ½ cup
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • White cumin whole 1 tsp
  • Whole mix spices 1 tbsp
  • Potatoes 2 peeled and cut into cubes
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Achaari masala 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Mint leaves 2 tbsp
  • Tomatoes 2 chopped
Method
  • Heat oil add whole spices, white cumin seeds, brown onion, ginger garlic paste, fry well add yogurt crushed red pepper, turmeric, achaari masala and potatoes, cover and cook till potatoes done, add boiled chanay with chopped tomatoes and rice, add water for rice, cover and cook till done, lastly add coriander, mint and leave it on dum, serve with raita.
