Handi achaari chops


Ingredients
  • Mutton chops 1 kg
  • Tomato 250 gm chopped
  • Onion 1 large chopped
  • Ginger garlic 2 tbsp
  • Onion seeds ½ tsp heaped
  • Cumin roasted and crushed 1 ½ tsp
  • Coriander seeds roasted and crushed 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies 6 whole
  • Anise seeds 1 ½ tsp roasted and coarsely ground
  • Kasori methi 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds ¼ tsp
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Salt 1 ½ tsp
  • Chili powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
Method
  • Coarsely crushed together anise seeds, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, onion seeds and fenugreek seeds, heat ½ cup oil add chopped onion fry for 5 minutes, add ginger garlic paste, add chopperized tomatoes with salt, chili powder and turmeric, fry well, add in par boiled chops with half cup water, cover and cook till chops nearly done, add in all the coarsely crushed seeds with lemon juice and green chilies, leave it on dum till oil comes on top.
