Chicken masala roast
Ingredients
- Chicken 1 kg whole
- Brown Onion ½ cup crushed
- Tomatoes 3 blended
- Chili powder 3 tsp
- Oil ½ cup
- Cashew nuts 12 grinded
- Allspice 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
- Cardamom powder ½ tsp
- Salt 1 ½ tsp
- Saffron ¼ tsp
- Baby potatoes 8Peeled and fried
- Green masala grinded
- Ginger 1 tbsp
- Garlic 1 tbsp
- Green chilies 6
- Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
- In a blender blend together, brown onion, tomatoes, cashew nuts, green masala, chili powder, keep aside. Heat oil fry blended masala till oil separates, add In chicken, cook for 20 minutes, when half done, add fried potatoes, allspice, saffron, cardamom powder and half cup water, simmer on low flame till chicken tender and gravy thick.
