Vanilla sand cake
Ingredients
- Butter 6 ounces
- Caster sugar 6 ounces
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
- Eggs 3
- Flour ½ cup
- Corn flour 1/3 cup
- Rice flour 1/3 cup
- Baking powder 1 tsp heaped
- Milk ¼ cup
- Icing sugar to dust
Method
- Grease a ring mould well, combine all the ingredients in a bowl, beat on low speed until mixed then increase speed to medium beat till mixture has changed color, spread mixture into prepared pan bake on 180 degree C for 40 minutes, turn onto wire rack to cool, dust cold cake with icing sugar.
