Dahi bhindi
Ingredients
- Ladyfinger ½ kg
- Black cumin 1 tsp
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Gram flour 2 tbsp
- Green chili 4
- Salt 1 tsp
- Oil ¼ cup
- Onion 1 large sliced
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- Allspice ½ tsp
Method
- Wash and dry ladyfinger, cut length wise into halves, mix gram flour, salt, ½ tsp roasted cumin, chili powder, turmeric, allspice, mix well, fill in half slit ladyfinger then mix ladyfinger in leftover masala, heat oil and shallow fry ladyfinger in ¼ cup oil and remove, in another pan heat ¼ cup oil add black cumin seeds, onion slice, fry transparent, add chopped green chilies, ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp of chili powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp allspice, ½ tsp roasted and crushed cumin, add whipped curd, fry well then add fried ladyfinger in it, leave it on dum for 10 minutes.
