Dahi bhindi


Ingredients
  • Ladyfinger ½ kg
  • Black cumin 1 tsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Gram flour 2 tbsp
  • Green chili 4
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Onion 1 large sliced
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Allspice ½ tsp
Method
  • Wash and dry ladyfinger, cut length wise into halves, mix gram flour, salt, ½ tsp roasted cumin, chili powder, turmeric, allspice, mix well, fill in half slit ladyfinger then mix ladyfinger in leftover masala, heat oil and shallow fry ladyfinger in ¼ cup oil and remove, in another pan heat ¼ cup oil add black cumin seeds, onion slice, fry transparent, add chopped green chilies, ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp of chili powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp allspice, ½ tsp roasted and crushed cumin, add whipped curd, fry well then add fried ladyfinger in it, leave it on dum for 10 minutes.
