Skewered Chicken in Italian way
Ingredients
- Chicken breast 2
- Garlic paste 1 tsp
- Tomato paste 3 tbsp
- Chicken mince 125 gm
- Capsicum 1
- Basil ½ tsp
- Parsley chopped ¼ bunch
- Cheddar cheese grated ½ packet
- Papaya paste 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper powder ½ tsp
- Skewers sticks as required
Method
- Cut each chicken breast into book form and flatten using hammer.In a bowl mix together 3 tbsp tomato paste, 1 tsp garlic paste, ½ tsp basil, 1 chopped capsicum, ¼ bunch of chopped parsley, salt to taste, ½ tsp black pepper and 2 tbsp papaya paste.Now add in 125 gm chicken mince and mix well.Spread mince mixture on top of chicken breasts, then top it with grated mozzarella cheese, fold like a Swiss roll.Cut each roll into half inch slices. Tread 2 – 3 slices in each skewer.Cook in a steamer for 12 – 15 minutes till chicken is tender.
