Oven Waly Naan
Ingredients
- Fine wheat flour ½ kg
- Nigella seeds 1 tsp
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Yeast 1 tbsp
- Milk ½ cup
- Yogurt 100 gm
- Egg 1
- Ghee 3 – 4 tbsp
- Sesame seeds 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine ½ cup milk with 1tbsp granular yeast and mix well.Then add 1/2kg plain flour, salt as required, 1tsp nigella seeds and 1tsp sugarAdd 100g yogurt, 3-4tbsp ghee and 1 beaten egg. Knead the dough wellPlace the dough in a glass bowl, cover with a plastic cover and leave to rise for 20-25 minutesSeparate the dough into equal portions and lightly roll each one in a bowl of extra flour to keep them from sticking to each other.Shape the naan with the help of a rolling pinSprinkle sesame seeds on top and bake at 250C until golden brown.
