Yogurt & Spinach Fish
Ingredients
- Fish fillet ½ kg
- Spinach 1 bunch
- Yogurt 250 gm
- Water 1 cup
- Rice flour 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Egg yolk 2
- Cream cheese 2 tbsp
- Spring onion chopped 1
- Garlic 2 – 3 cloves
- Salt to taste
- Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
- Big green chilies chopped 2 – 3
- Oil 2 – 3 tbsp
Method
- Boil 1 glass water in a pan, add in fish pieces and dip for a few seconds.Now remove fish from the boiling water and keep aside.Heat oil in a wok, add chopped onion, chopped garlic and 2 – 3 chopped green chilies. Fry till golden brown.Then add in beaten yogurt and rice flour, cover & cook for 8 – 10 minutes.Meanwhile wash 1 bunch of fresh spinach and chop it finely. Remove lid of the pan, add in salt to taste, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tbsp lemon juice, chopped spinach, 2 tbsp cream cheese and cook for 1 – 2 minutes.Lastly add blanched fish and mix well.Dish it out and serve hot.
