Mutton Shorba


Ingredients
  • Mutton ½ kg
  • Brown onion 2
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Green chilies 2 – 3
  • Tomatoes boiled 2
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • All spice powder ½ tsp
  • Cinnamon 1 inch piece
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil ¼ cup
Method
  • In a pan heat ¼ cup oil, add 2 chopped onion and fry till golden brown, remove brown onion and crush coarsely. Keep it aside.In the remaining oil add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and ½ kg mutton. Fry for a few minutes.Now add 1 tsp chili powder, ½ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp coriander powder and 1 tsp cumin powder. Fry for 1 – 2 minutes.Then add cinnamon stick, salt to taste, 250 gm yogurt and 2 – 3 green chilies. Also add 2 cup water, cover and cook for 25 – 30 minutes till mutton is tender.Lastly add ½ tsp all spice powder and crushed brown onion. Now fry well on high flame till most of the waiter dries.Dish it out and serve hot.
