Fish nuggets


Ingredients
  • Fish ½ kg boneless 2 inch cubes
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Mustard paste ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Egg 1
  • Milk 2 tbsp
Ingredients for batter
  • Self raising flour 4 tbsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Baking powder ¼ tsp
  • Salt and white pepper ¼ tsp each
  • Chilled water to make batter as required
  • Bread crumbs 1 cup
Method
  • Marinate fish cubes with salt, pepper, mustard and lemon juice, dip in egg and milk mixture then in prepared batter, roll in crumbs and deep fry.
