BALTI QEEMA
Ingredients:
- Beef mince ½ kg
- Onion (sliced) 2
- Tomatoes 2
- Cinnamon 2-3 sticks
- Black peppercorn 1 tsp
- Black cumin seeds ½ tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Green chilies 3-4
- Oil 4-5 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Take 4-5 tbsp oil in the pan and add in 2 chopped onions till they are golden brown. Add in chopped tomatoes and cook it. Add in 2-3 sticks of cinnamon, 2-3 big cardamom, 1 tsp black peppercorn, ½ tsp black cumin seeds, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp red chili powder and some salt. Cook it well. Add in ½ kg mince and cook it. Then add in yogurt, cover the pan and tender the mince. Remove the cover and cook it on a high flame. When mince is cooked and gravy thickens add in 2 tbsp lemon juice. Garnish it with green chilies and serve.
