ARABIAN CHICKEN LENTIL RICE
Ingredients:
- Chicken Legs 2
- Chicken Breast 2
- Rice 2 cups
- Clarified butter 1 cup
- Yogurt ½ cup
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Green chilies 4
- Small cardamom 6
- Raisins 1 cup
- Boiled almonds 10
- Salt to taste
- Chopped onions 2
- White vinegar 2 tbsp
Method:
- Wash chicken and wash and soak 2 cup rice in water. Take 1 cup clarified butter in a wok and fry the onions till they are golden brown. Take out the fried onions and add in the chicken. Cook it till its water dries. Then add in 2 tbsp white vinegar, 6 crushed cardamom, ½ cup yogurt and 1 cup ginger garlic paste. Cook it well. Now sauté boiled and chopped almonds and 1 cup raisins then add in 2-3 cups of water and rice. Cook it. When water comes to boil simmer it and dish it out to serve.
