Italian Fish Tomato


Ingredients
  • Fish fillet ½ kg
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Onion chopped 1
  • Garlic 3 – 4 cloves
  • Tomato puree 5 tbsp
  • Parsley chopped ¼ bunch
  • Oregano ½ tsp
  • Curry leaves 2
  • Tomatoes (boiled) 2
  • Sugar ½ tsp
  • Fresh cream 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder ½ tsp
Method
• Heat ¼ cup oil in a pan, add 1 chopped onion and 3 – 4 cloves of garlic, fry well.
• Now add ½ kg fish cut into cubes. Fry for 1 – 2 minutes.
• Remove fish and keep aside.
• In the same wok now add boiled chopped tomatoes and tomato puree. Cook for 2 – 3 minutes.
• Now add ½ tsp oregano leaves, ¼ bunch of chopped parsley, 2 curry leaves, ½ tsp sugar, ½ tsp black pepper salt to taste and ¼ cup water.
• Cover and cook for 5 – 6 minutes, then remove lid, add fried fish and 2 tbsp fresh cream. Fry well on high flame.
• Mix well, dish it out and serve hot.
