Date Pudding


Ingredients
  • Dates 100 gm
  • Warm water 100 ml
  • Brown sugar 50 gm
  • Flour 125 gm
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Butter 50 gm
  • Egg 1
Ingredients for Sauce
  • Brown sugar 50 gm
  • Fresh cream 100 ml
  • Butter 25 gm
Method
  • Blend together 100 gm dates and 100 ml warm water. Mix well.Add 1 tsp baking powder, 50 gm butter, 50 gm brown sugar, 1 egg and 125 gm flour. Mix very well.Now pour mixture in a greased lined cake mold and bake on 180 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
  • In a separate pan put together 100 ml fresh cream, 50 gm brown sugar and 25 gm butter. Cook for 4 – 5 minutes. Remove from fire and keep aside.Spread this sauce on top of baked pudding and serve.
