Date Pudding
Ingredients
- Dates 100 gm
- Warm water 100 ml
- Brown sugar 50 gm
- Flour 125 gm
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Butter 50 gm
- Egg 1
Ingredients for Sauce
- Brown sugar 50 gm
- Fresh cream 100 ml
- Butter 25 gm
- Blend together 100 gm dates and 100 ml warm water. Mix well.Add 1 tsp baking powder, 50 gm butter, 50 gm brown sugar, 1 egg and 125 gm flour. Mix very well.Now pour mixture in a greased lined cake mold and bake on 180 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
- In a separate pan put together 100 ml fresh cream, 50 gm brown sugar and 25 gm butter. Cook for 4 – 5 minutes. Remove from fire and keep aside.Spread this sauce on top of baked pudding and serve.
