Apple Crumble
Ingredients
- Apple grated 3
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Lemon skin ½ tsp
- Cinnamon ground ¼ tsp
- Raisin 50 gm
- Walnut chopped 50 gm
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Sugar 125 gm
- Milk 300 ml
- Custard powder 2 tbsp
- Beaten egg 3
- Vanilla essence few drops
Method
- In a wok heat 300 ml milk, add 125 gm sugar, 2 pinch of cinnamon powder, few drops of vanilla essence and 3 grated apples.Cook till I comes to a boil, then add 2 tbsp custard powder and cook till custard thickens.Now add raisins and walnut, mix well.
- Remove custard in a bowl, add 3 beaten egg, 1 tbsp lemon juice and ½ tsp lemon skin.Greased cake mold or pie mold with 1 tbsp butter. Pour prepared mixture in greased mold.
- Pour 1 glass of water in oven tray, put mold in it and bake in a preheated oven on 200 degrees for 15 – 20 minutes.Then remove from oven and serve cold.
