Fruit gateau


Ingredients
  • Sponge cake of 4 cakes
  • Ingredients for icing
  • Fresh cream whipped 1 pound
  • Icing sugar 2 ounces
  • Mix fruit cocktail 1 tin
  • Strawberry jelly 1 packet
Method
  • Make a 4 egg sponge like above cool cake, cut cake horizontally into 3 layers, to each layer brush generously with tinned fruit syrup, then fresh cream, then fruit, second layer of cake, again moist with sugar syrup, then raspberry jelly, fresh cream, fruit, finally the top layer of cake is also soaked with sugar syrup, covered with fresh cream, thick layer and decorate with chocolate decorations.
