Biscuit Date Delight

Ingredients

• Flour 150 gm
• Egg half
• Butter 125 gm
• Icing sugar 75 gm
• Corn flour 7 gm
• Milk powder 18 gm
• Baking powder 1 gm
• Salt to taste
• Date 100 gm
• Icing sugar for garnish

Method

• In a bowl mix together 150 gm flour, half egg, 125 gm butter, 75 gm icing sugar, 7 gm corn flour, 18 gm milk powder, 1 gm baking powder and salt to taste.Knead to dough. Now make cookies with the dough.
• Coat each cookie with date, bake in a preheated oven on 200 degrees for 6 – 7 minutes.Remove in a serving platter, garnish with icing sugar and serve.
