Southern Fried Rice
Ingredients
- Onion sliced 1
- Red capsicum 1
- Carrot 1
- Egg 2
- Green chilies chopped 3
- Boiled bean 125 gm
- Boiled peas ½ cup
- Garlic 3 – 4 cloves
- Ginger chopped 1 piece
- Rice 300 gm
- Prawns 300 gm
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Lemon skin 1 tsp
- Chili garlic sauce 2 tbsp
- Soya sauce 2 tbsp
- Worchester shire sauce 2 tbsp
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method
- Boil 300 gm rice and keep aside.Cut 1 onion, 1 capsicum, 125 gm green beans, 3 green chilies and 1 carrot into juliennes.In a wok heat 3 tbsp oil, add 1 piece of chopped ginger and 3 – 4 cloves of garlic. Fry well till golden brown.
- Now add 300 gm prawns, fry well till its color turn to white. Now add all the sliced vegetables.Also add ½ cup boiled peas and cook for 2 – 3 minutes.Add in 2 beaten eggs.
- Now add 300 gm boiled rice, salt to taste, 2 tbsp Worchester shire sauce, 2 tbsp soya sauce and 1 tsp crushed black pepper. Mix well and dish it out. Serve hot.
