Malaysian spiced chicken
Ingredients
- Chicken ½ kg
- Finely sliced onions 1
- Boiled and finely chopped tomatoes 1
- Fresh red chilies 2
- Water 1 cup
- Finely chopped garlic 3-4 cloves
- Crushed red chilies 1tsp
- Butter 1tbsp
- 1Black pepper powder ½ tsp
- Soya sauce 2 tbsp
- Oil 3-4 tbsp
- Salt as required
Method
- Heat 3 – 4 tbsp oil in a pan, add 1 sliced onion and fry well till golden brown.Now add ½ kg chicken and fry well till golden brown. Add 3 – 4 cloves of chopped garlic. Fry a little.Now add 2 boiled chopped tomatoes, 2 tbsp soya sauce, 1 tsp crushed black pepper, salt to taste and 1 cup water. Cover and cook for 10 – 15 minutes.
- Remove the lid, add ½ tsp black pepper powder, 2 fresh red chilies and 1 tbsp butter. Fry well for 2 – 3 minutes.Dish it out and serve hot.
