Mandarin chicken
Ingredients
- Chicken breast 2
- Egg 1
- Finely chopped spring onions 1
- Orange juice 1 cup
- Water 1/2cup
- Oil 1tbsp
- Finely chopped coriander 1tbsp
- Garlic paste 1tbsp
- Lemon juice 2tbsp
- Soya sauce 2tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce 2tbsp
- Tomato ketchup 2tbsp
- Honey 2tbsp
- Corn flour 3tbsp
- Oil 2tbsp
- Oil for frying
- Salt as required
Method:-
- Dice the 2 chicken breasts and marinate with salt, egg, 2tbsp and corn flour.Heat oil in a wok and deep fry the chicken until golden brown in color.In a separate pan heat 2tbsp of oil and add1 tbsp ginger garlic paste .Fry the paste till it turns golden brown in color.Now add 2tbsp honey, as soon a s the mixture starts to boil, add 11 cup orange juice,2tbsp lemon juice,2tbsp soya sauce,2tbsp Worcestershire sauce,2tbsp tomato ketchup and ½ cup water .Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Add the finely chopped spring onions and 1tbsp finely chopped coriander.In a s separate cup mix the corn flour with a little water and pour into the prepared sauce, stirring continuously. Cook until the mixture thickens.Now mix in the chicken and serve.
