Mandarin chicken


Ingredients
  • Chicken breast 2
  • Egg 1
  • Finely chopped spring onions 1
  • Orange juice 1 cup
  • Water 1/2cup
  • Oil 1tbsp
  • Finely chopped coriander 1tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce 2tbsp
  • Tomato ketchup 2tbsp
  • Honey 2tbsp
  • Corn flour 3tbsp
  • Oil 2tbsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt as required
Method:-
  • Dice the 2 chicken breasts and marinate with salt, egg, 2tbsp and corn flour.Heat oil in a wok and deep fry the chicken until golden brown in color.In a separate pan heat 2tbsp of oil and add1 tbsp ginger garlic paste .Fry the paste till it turns golden brown in color.Now add 2tbsp honey, as soon a s the mixture starts to boil, add 11 cup orange juice,2tbsp lemon juice,2tbsp soya sauce,2tbsp Worcestershire sauce,2tbsp tomato ketchup and ½ cup water .Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the finely chopped spring onions and 1tbsp finely chopped coriander.In a s separate cup mix the corn flour with a little water and pour into the prepared sauce, stirring continuously. Cook until the mixture thickens.Now mix in the chicken and serve.
