Fried fish in masala style


Ingredients:
  • Fish fillet ½ kg
  • Egg 1
  • Finely chopped onion 1
  • Boiled tomatoes 3
  • Water ½ cup
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Flour 3 tbsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Coriander leaves as required
  • Salt as required
Method:
  • Cut ½ kg fish in fingers.Add 1 tbsp ginger/garlic paste, salt as required, ½ tsp black pepper, 1 egg, 3 tbsp flour and 2 tbsp corn flour and marinate. Deep fry in the hot oil.As the fish gets golden dish out.
  • In wok take 3 tbsp oil, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1chopped onion, and cook till it gets golden brown.Add 3 chopped tomatoes, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tbsp red chili powder, 1 tbsp red chili powder, salt as required and water. Cover the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove the lid and dry out the water.Add coriander leaves as per requirement and fried fish. Serve hot.
