Sheeray Wali Tikki


Ingredients
  • Milk ¼ liter
  • Sugar 250 gm
  • Khoya 125 gm
  • Saffron 1 small pack
  • Water 1 cup
  • Ghee 1 cup
  • Almond & pistachio chopped 25 gm
  • Kewra 1 tbsp
  • Yellow color ½ tsp
  • Cardamom powder ¼ tsp
  • Flour 3 tsp
  • Corn flour 3 tbsp
  • Semolina 3 tbsp
Method
  • Mix together ¼ liter milk, 125 gm khoya, 3 tbsp corn flour, ¼ tsp cardamom powder, 3 tsp flour and 3 tbsp semolina. Mix well and make into thick paste.In a pan put together 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, ½ tsp yellow color and 1 tbsp kewra. Cook till sugar dissolves.
  • Heat ghee in another pan, add one tbsp of prepared paste and fry like Tikki. Fry till golden brown.Now soak each Tikki in sugar syrup.Lastly sprinkle with saffron and 25 gm chopped almond pistachios.
