Naan khatai
Ingredients
- Castor sugar ½ cup
- Flour 1 cup
- Egg half
- Salt a pinch
- Cardamom ground 4
- Ghee 1 tbsp
- Baking powder ½ tsp
- Almond & pistachio as required
Method
- Mix together 1 cup flour, ½ tsp baking powder, a pinch of salt, ½ cup castor sugar, 1 tbsp ghee and 4 ground green cardamom. Knead to dough and keep aside for 30 minutes.Now make into round balls and flatten with palms.
- Top with chopped almond and pistachio, brush with beaten egg.Now put in a baking tray and bake in a pre heated oven of 180 degrees for 15 – 20 minutes.
