Nargisi Koftay


Ingredients
  • Beef minced ½ kg
  • Egg 1
  • Onion 2
  • Green chilies 4
  • Boiled eggs 4
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Coconut 1 tbsp
  • Khashkhash 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Fired gram lentil 4 tbsp
  • Oil as per requirement
Ingredients for gravy
  • Chopped onion 250 grams
  • Yogurt 250 grams
  • Clarified butter ½ cup
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Hot spices powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Mustard seeds ½ tsp
  • Coriander, green chilies for garnishing
  • Ginger for garnishing
Method
  • In a chopper take ½ kg minced meat, 4 green chilies and 2 onions and chop them all together.Now add 1 egg, 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp grated coconut and 1 tbsp khashkhash and mix well. Now coat the boiled eggs.Now fry them in heated oil. As they turn golden brown take them out.
  • Now heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds as the aroma arises add 250 grams chopped onion and then fry that the onion turns light pink.Then add 1 tsp red chili powder, salt to taste and ½ tsp turmeric with that add 250 grams beaten yogurt and sauté till the water dries out.
  • Now add 1 cup water in it and cook for 10 minutes and pour it in a dish and put egg pieces on the top of it.In the end garnish it with green chilies, finely chopped ginger and 1 tsp hot spices powder and serve.
