Indonesian soup


Ingredients
  • Chicken boneless 1 cup cut in tiny cubes
  • Cabbage 1 cup cut in tiny cubes
  • Carrots 1 cup cut in tiny cubes
  • Bean sprouts 1 cup
  • Raw Noodles ½ cup cut in tiny pieces
  • Boiled eggs to garnish 2 chopped in small pieces
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Flour ½ cup mixed with½ cup water
  • Butter 2 ounce
  • Salt 1 tsp heaped
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Chicken stock 6 cups
  • Coconut milk powder 5 tbsp heaped
  • Hot water 1 ½ cup
Method
  • Marinate chicken cubes with salt, pepper and soya sauce. Heat butter add marinated chicken cook for 5 minutes add 6 cups stock, carrots and noodles.When the noodles tender add blended mixture of flour and water, vinegar, cook till it boils add coconut milk, salt and pepper to taste, lastly add cabbage and thickens the soup with corn flour paste. Before serving garnish the soup with boiled eggs.
