Chatkhara Murgh Musallam


Ingredients
  • Whole chicken 1
  • Onion ground 1
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Green chilies 10
  • Lemon juice ½ cup
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Garlic powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Carom seeds roasted 2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds roasted 2 tsp
  • Nutmeg ½ tsp
  • Mace ½ tsp
  • Chili powder 2 tsp
Method
  • Marinate 1 whole chicken with 2 tsp roasted carom seeds, 2 tsp roasted cumin seeds, 1 tsp ginger powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp nutmeg, ½ tsp mace, 2 tsp chili powder and ½ cup lemon juice. Keep it marinated for 1 hour.
  • Heat ½ cup oil in pan, add in 10 chopped green chilies and fry. Now add marinated chicken and fry well from both sides for 10 minutes.
  • Now add 250 gm yogurt, 1 cup ground onion and cook for another 30 minutes.Murgh Musallam is ready to serve.
