Chatkhara Murgh Musallam
Ingredients
- Whole chicken 1
- Onion ground 1
- Yogurt 250 gm
- Green chilies 10
- Lemon juice ½ cup
- Oil ½ cup
- Garlic powder 1 tsp
- Ginger powder 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Carom seeds roasted 2 tsp
- Cumin seeds roasted 2 tsp
- Nutmeg ½ tsp
- Mace ½ tsp
- Chili powder 2 tsp
Method
- Marinate 1 whole chicken with 2 tsp roasted carom seeds, 2 tsp roasted cumin seeds, 1 tsp ginger powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp nutmeg, ½ tsp mace, 2 tsp chili powder and ½ cup lemon juice. Keep it marinated for 1 hour.
- Heat ½ cup oil in pan, add in 10 chopped green chilies and fry. Now add marinated chicken and fry well from both sides for 10 minutes.
- Now add 250 gm yogurt, 1 cup ground onion and cook for another 30 minutes.Murgh Musallam is ready to serve.
