Ingredients
  • Flour 2 cups
  • Salt a pinch
  • Caster sugar 1 cup
  • Eggs 2
  • Cream ½ cup
  • Butter 100 gm
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Milk as required
  • Oil for fry
Ingredients for Vanilla Glazed
  • Caster sugar 1 cup
  • Vanilla essence ½ tsp
  • Milk 3 tbsp
Method
  • In a bowl mix together 2 cup flour, a pinch of salt, 1 tsp baking powder, 100 gm butter, 1 cup caster sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla essence and ½ cup cream. Knead well with milk as required and keep aside for 1 hour.
  • Now roll and cut into rounds using donut cutter.Now fry in oil till golden brown, then remove and keep aside.
Method for Vanilla Glazed
  • Mix together 1 cup caster sugar, ½ tsp vanilla essence and 3 tbsp milk. Mix well, spread on top of each donut and serve.
