Andra Mutton Karahi
Ingredients
- Mutton 1 kg
- Onion 2
- Cardamoms 2
- Bay leaves 2
- Curry leaves 4
- Oil 1 cup
- Tomatoes ½ kg
- Whole red chilies 12
- Green chilies 12
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Desiccated coconut 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Fennel seeds 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Salt ½ tsp
Method
- In a pan put together 1 kg mutton, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and salt to taste. Cook over low flame till tender.Heat 1 cup oil in pan, add 2 chopped onion and fry till golden brown, add in 4 curry leaves, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp fennel seeds, 2 bay leaves, ½ tsp salt and 12 whole red chilies.Now add boiled meat with ½ kg sliced tomatoes.Cook well, lastly add 12 green chilies and simmer for 10 minutes.
