Coffee Brownie Trifle
 

Ingredients
  • Chocolate brownies 8 squares
  • Cream cheese 1 cup
  • Milk ½ cup
  • Chocolate 100 gm
  • Fresh cream 2 cups
  • Fruit cocktail 1 tin
  • Coffee 2 tsp
  • Water ¾ cup
  • Caster sugar 2 tbsp
Method
  • Make syrup with 2 tsp coffee, ¾ cup water and 2 tbsp caster sugar, keep aside. Cut 8 brownies into half horizontally and soaked with ¼ cup of coffee liquid, beat the 1 cup cream cheese with remaining coffee until smooth, melt 100 gm chocolate with ½ cup milk and cool, whip the cream add ½ tsp vanilla essence, fold in cooled chocolate mixture into the cheese mixture and finally fold in the 2 cups whipped cream. Layer brownies, fruits and chocolate mixture in individual transparent glasses, chill for 2 hours, garnish with whipped cream and sprinkle off coffee.
