Chili Chicken Pizza
Ingredients for Pizza Dough
- Flour 8 ounces
- Egg 1
- Oil ¼ cup
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Milk powder 2 tbsp
- Instant yeast 1 ½ tsp
- Lukewarm water to knead
Ingredients for Topping
- Pizza sauce ¼ cup
- Capsicum chopped 1
- Onion (cut into rings) 1
- Mushroom thinly sliced 4
- Oregano leaves 1 tsp
- Crushed red pepper ½ tsp
- Black olives slices 2 tbsp
Ingredients for Chili Chicken Topping
- Chicken breast (cut into tiny pieces) 1
- Cheddar cheese grated 1 cup
- Mozzarella cheese grated 1 cup
- Crushed red chili 1 tsp
- Soya sauce 1 tsp
- Vinegar 1 tsp
- Flour 1 tbsp
- Corn flour 1 tbsp
- Black pepper ¼ tsp
- Salt ¼ tsp
Method for Dough
- In a bowl mix together 8 ounces flour, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, 1 ½ tsp Instant yeast, 1 egg, 2 tbsp milk powder, ¼ cup oil and knead to soft dough with Lukewarm water as required. Leave it to rise. Cover for 30 minutes, roll into a 10 inch round, spread onto a 10 inch pizza plate, spread with pizza sauce, sprinkle with 2 tbsp cheddar cheese, top with filling, oregano leaves, both the cheese, bake in a preheated oven of 200 degree C for 30 minutes.
- Method for Chili Chicken Topping , Cut the 1 chicken breast into tiny pieces, marinate with 1 tsp crushed red pepper, ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp black pepper, 1 tsp soya sauce, 1 tsp vinegar, sprinkle 1 tbsp flour and 1 tbsp corn flour on chicken pieces to coat well, fry on medium heat till crisp and golden brown, remove from oil, add 1 tbsp pizza sauce to chicken pieces.
