Super Doper Dahi Bary
Ingredients
- White lentil 250 gm
- Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
- White cumin 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Water as required
- Yogurt whipped 1 kg
- Icing sugar 5 tbsp heaped
- Chat Masala 1 tsp
- Tamarind chutney 4 tbsp
- Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
Method
- Soak 250gm white lentil for 6 hours, drain water, put in blender with 1 tsp crushed red pepper, 1 tsp whole white cumin, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking powder and ½ cup water, blend well, deep fry baras in frying pan, soak in hot salted water, beat 1 kg yogurt, strain and mix with 5 tbsp icing sugar, remove baras from water, remove all the water by pressing in between your palms.
- To Serve ,Put 1 cup yogurt into a serving dish, arrange baras, cover with remaining yogurt on top, sprinkle 1 tsp chat Masala, drizzle with 4 tbsp tamarind chutney and 1 tbsp coriander leaves, serve chilled.
