Shrimp Makhani


Ingredients
  • Shrimps ½ kg
  • Coconut milk ½ cup
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Crushed garlic 1 tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Butter 3 tbsp
  • Onion chopped 2 tbsp
Ingredients for Makhani Sauce
  • Green chilies sliced 2
  • Corn flour 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Ginger sliced 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder ½ tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Alls spice ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
  • Tomato paste 3 tbsp
  • Fresh cream 4 tbsp
Method
  1. Heat 3 tbsp butter, fry 1 tsp crushed garlic and 2 tbsp chopped onion for 2 minutes, add ½ kg shrimps with ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp chili powder, ½ cup coconut milk and prepared Makhani sauce, lastly add 2 chopped green chilies and 2 tbsp coriander leaves, mix well and serve.
  2. Method for Sauce ,Heat 1 tbsp butter, add 1 tbsp sliced ginger with 3 tbsp tomato paste, ½ tsp chili powder, ½ tsp salt, 1 tbsp lemon juice, ½ tsp all spice and ½ cup water, cook till boiling, thicken sauce with 1 tsp corn flour paste, lastly add 4 tbsp cream and remove.
