Khush Zaiqa Siwaiyan
Ingredients
- Vermicelli 1 packet
- Fresh milk 3 cups
- Sugar 1 ½ cup
- Ghee ½ cup
- Almonds and pistachio sliced 2 tbsp
- Green cardamom crushed 1 tsp
- Khoya ½ cup
- Saffron ½ tsp
- Kewra water 1 tsp
Method
- Mix 3 cups milk and 1 ½ cup sugar, cook till boiling, in another pan heat ½ cup ghee, fry 200 gm vermicelli till golden, add milk and sugar mixture. Cook till dry, lastly add ½ cup khoya, 1 tsp crushed green cardamom, 2 tbsp sliced almonds and pistachio, ½ tsp saffron, 1 tsp kewra and simmer for 10 minutes.
