Khajoor ka Halwa
Ingredients
- Wheat flour 200 gm
- Seedless soft dates 200 gm chopparize
- Ghee ¾ cup
- Rose water ½ cup
- Sugar ½ cup
- Cardamom powder 1 tsp
- Hot milk 1 tbsp
- Saffron ½ tsp
Method
- Dry roast the 200gm wheat flour in a large pan on low flame, stirring continuously until light golden, gradually add ¾ cup ghee and mix properly with flour, add ½ cup rose water and 200gm seedless dates, also add ½ cup sugar, mix well, add 1 tsp ground green cardamom, ½ tsp saffron and milk mixture, cook for 5 minutes, remove in a serving platter, serve hot.
