Jhat Pat chicken
Ingredients
- Chicken 1 kg 16 pieces
- Oil ½ cup
- Salt 1 tsp
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Mustard powder 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Wooster sauce 1 tbsp
- Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
- Ketchup 2 tbsp
Ingredients for sauce
- Orange color a pinch
- Onion cut into rings 1
- Capsicum cut into rings 1
- Tomato cut into fingers 1
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Tomato paste 2 tbsp
- Ketchup 2 tbsp
- Vinegar 2 tbsp
Method
- Marinate 1 kg chicken with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp ginger garlic, 1 tsp mustard powder, 1 tbsp Wooster sauce and 2 tbsp ketchup. Heat ½ cup oil in pan, add marinated chicken and fry for 5 minutes, add ½ cup water, cover and cook till chicken half done, then add all the ingredients for sauce with 1 cup water, cover and let it cook till done. Lastly add vegetables, simmer for 5 minutes.
