Jhat Pat chicken


Ingredients
  • Chicken 1 kg 16 pieces
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Mustard powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Wooster sauce 1 tbsp
  • Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
  • Ketchup 2 tbsp
Ingredients for sauce
  • Orange color a pinch
  • Onion cut into rings 1
  • Capsicum cut into rings 1
  • Tomato cut into fingers 1
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Tomato paste 2 tbsp
  • Ketchup 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
Method
  1. Marinate 1 kg chicken with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp ginger garlic, 1 tsp mustard powder, 1 tbsp Wooster sauce and 2 tbsp ketchup. Heat ½ cup oil in pan, add marinated chicken and fry for 5 minutes, add ½ cup water, cover and cook till chicken half done, then add all the ingredients for sauce with 1 cup water, cover and let it cook till done. Lastly add vegetables, simmer for 5 minutes.
