Gosht Falak Numa


Ingredients
  • Mutton ½ kg
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Water 1 ½ cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
Ingredients for Masala
  • Chopped onion 1 cup
  • Yogurt 2 cups
  • Green chilies sliced 4
  • Cashew nuts 12 grinded
  • All spice ½ tsp
  • Saffron ½ tsp
  • Chili powder 2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Method
  1. Heat ¼ cup oil, add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, cook for 2 minutes, add ½ kg mutton with salt to taste, cook for 2 minutes, add 1 ½ cup water, cover and cook till meat is tender and water dries.
  2. Method for Masala ,Put 2 cup yogurt in a muslin cloth, make into bag and hand for 2 hours. Heat ¼ cup oil in a wok, add 1 cup chopped onion, fry till light golden, add 2 tsp chili powder, ½ tsp all spice, 4 sliced green chilies, 12 cashew nut paste and ½ cup water, fry till oil comes on top, add this Masala to the cooked mutton, mix well, add 2 cups yogurt, 2 tbsp coriander leaves and ½ tsp saffron, simmer until oil comes on top.
