Vegetable Balti Masala
Ingredients
- 1 cup peas
- 1 cup boiled chick peas
- 1 cup oil
- 2 potatoes
- 2 egg plants
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 6 green chilies
- ½ kg tomatoes
- ½ bunch coriander
- 250 grams cauliflower
- 250 grams lady fingers
- 250 grams carrot
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp hot spices
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- 2 tsp cumin
Method
- Boil ½ kg tomatoes and blend them. Then fry 1 cup peas, potatoes, 2 egg plants, 250 grams cauliflower, 250 gram lady fingers and 250 gram carrot and take it out. Then in left over oil add ½ kg tomatoes, 4 cloves of garlic, 2 tsp red chili powder, 2 tsp cumin, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp mustard seeds and 1 tsp hot spices and stir it together properly.
- Now add vegetables, 6 green chilies and 1 cup chick peas and allow simmering for 20 minutes. Delicious Vegetable Balti Masala is ready to serve.
