Prawn skewers with tomato salsa


Ingredients
  • Tiger Prawns 1/2kg
  • Crushed red chili 1tsp
  • Garlic paste 1tsp
  • Lemon juice 1tbsp
  • Vinegar 1tbsp
  • Black pepper 1/2tsp
  • Mustard Paste 1/2tsp
  • Salt 1/2tsp
  • Olive oil 2tbsp
  • Shashlik stick as required
Tomato salsa Ingredients
  • Red capsicum 1
  • Green capsicum 1
  • Green chilies 1
  • Boiled Tomatoes 2
  • Spring onions 2
  • Olive oil 1tbsp
  • Parsley 1tbsp
  • Vinegar 2tbsp
  • Salt 1/4tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2tsp
Method
  1. Place the tiger prawns in a bowl and add 1tsp crushed red chili,1tsp garlic paste,1tbsp lemon juice,1tbsp vinegar,1/2tsp black pepper,1/2tsp mustard paste,1/2tsp salt and 2tbsp olive oil. Leave to marinate for half an hour.
  2. Thread the prawns onto skewers and toast them from both the sides.To prepare the tomato salsa finely chop the red and green capsicum, 2spring onions,1 green chilies,2 boiled tomatoes, 2 spring onions and parsely. 
  3. Mix all the chopped vegetables in 1 tbsp oil and serve with the grilled tiger prawns.
