Masala Biscuits


Ingredients
  • Refined flour 40 grams
  • Ghee 15 grams
  • Sugar 5 grams
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Yogurt 1 tsp
  • Baking powder a pinch
  • Ginger 5 grams (Chopped)
  • Coriander leaves a few (chopped)
  • Curry leaves a few (chopped)
  • Chilled water to make dough
Method
  1. In a large bowl sift 40g flour and a pinch of baking powder.Cut the clarified butter into the mixture until it begins to look like cornmeal.Now add 5g sugar, 1/4tsp salt, chopped ginger,chopped coriander leaves and chopped curry leaves. mix well.
  2. Add 1tsp yogurt and mix well.Now add chilled water as required and make a smooth dough.Roll out dough onto a lightly floured surface roll out to desired thickness Cut with biscuits cutter.
  3. Bake on a greased tray at 180 C for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.Serve.
