Masala Biscuits
Ingredients
- Refined flour 40 grams
- Ghee 15 grams
- Sugar 5 grams
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Yogurt 1 tsp
- Baking powder a pinch
- Ginger 5 grams (Chopped)
- Coriander leaves a few (chopped)
- Curry leaves a few (chopped)
- Chilled water to make dough
Method
- In a large bowl sift 40g flour and a pinch of baking powder.Cut the clarified butter into the mixture until it begins to look like cornmeal.Now add 5g sugar, 1/4tsp salt, chopped ginger,chopped coriander leaves and chopped curry leaves. mix well.
- Add 1tsp yogurt and mix well.Now add chilled water as required and make a smooth dough.Roll out dough onto a lightly floured surface roll out to desired thickness Cut with biscuits cutter.
- Bake on a greased tray at 180 C for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.Serve.
